Kimberly Carlisle, FNP has over 32 years of nursing experience. She received her BSN from Kennesaw State University in 1999. Prior to, she was an LPN and associates RN. In 2021, she received her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner in United States University in San Diego, California.
She has have worked 3 years in ICU, 19 years in ER and 6 years in Cardiac Cath lab. She has always had a passion for special needs kids and dementia patients. Kimberly states, "I have cared for patients in their acute phase of a stroke or after a seizure through the ER but you never know how the patient did after they leave. Working at Northside Neurology I am able to see how they are doing and enjoy their improvements and be involved in finding a proper treatment for the individual patient."
Her philosophy of care is to strive to make a difference in her patients lives. While specializing in Neurology, she is able to make a difference in the quality of life of her patients.
She has been in Cumming since 2004. She enjoys camping, boating, hiking to waterfalls, and kayaking.
